Why this work matters
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15–35. When caught early, survival rates exceed 95%. Yet too many men still delay seeking help — through embarrassment, a lack of awareness, or simply not knowing what to look for.
Baggy Trousers UK exists to close that gap — with plain-speaking awareness campaigns, peer-led support, and funded mental health services for men at every stage of their journey.
Our journey
Founded
Baggy Trousers UK was established by Jack Broadley following his own diagnosis, with a mission to ensure no man faces testicular cancer alone.
First awareness campaign
We launched our first national awareness campaign, reaching thousands of men across the UK with self-examination guidance.
Peer support programme launched
Our trained peer support network connected survivors with newly diagnosed men — the first programme of its kind in the North West.
Online community launched
We launched our moderated online community platform, extending our reach to men across the country who couldn't access in-person support.
Funded therapy programme
We began funding access to professional counselling for men affected by testicular cancer, recognising the mental health dimension of diagnosis and recovery.
2,400 men supported
We reached the milestone of supporting more than 2,400 men — through our helpline, peer network, community, and funded therapy services.
Help us do more
Every donation helps us reach more men, fund more therapy sessions, and deliver more awareness talks. Together we can make a real difference.
